The McCulloch Mixed Used Building

The McCulloch Building, named in honor of Joe and Dorothy McCulloch, is a mixed used building located on Emmaus Road in Marysville, Ohio. This location offers a blend of community life and a quiet retreat. The development by the Connolly Companies is a two-story, 16,000 square feet building containing approximately 8,000 square feet of retail space on the first floor for five retail, office, or restaurant uses. The second floor contains eleven one-bedroom residential units. Each residential unit contains a “work nook,” allowing each resident the opportunity to work from home.

The building is located along the main sidewalk with all the parking located in the rear. This created a small plaza for social gatherings and allowed the building to have a stronger connection to the surrounding community. The presence along the main road increased the visibility of the retail spaces.

The McCulloch Building is a design-build project with Andrews Architects, Inc and Andrews Builders, Inc.
