In a larger effort to make affordable healthcare services accessible to the public, OhioHealth opened a primary care clinic and laboratory in Grandview Heights, Ohio. The design team worked closely with OhioHealth to create an efficient space while working within the parameters set forth by new design standards. This primary care location consists of fifteen exam rooms, two nurse stations, a point of care (POC) lab, physician offices, and various support spaces. Exam rooms are placed along the perimeter of the suite to take advantage of natural light and views of the rapidly developing Grandview Yard development.
The lab services area consists of three blood draw stations, a toilet room, and point of care lab. It also has its own reception area to provide convenient, streamlined access for patients obtaining lab work.
