Vive Vascular made the decision to move from their current location to the ever-growing medical park in Gahanna, Ohio.  The cardiovascular group partnered with Andrews Architects to design a 6,440 square feet Office Based Lab (OBL). The OBL is located on the second floor of a multi-tenant medical office building.

The clinic was sub-divided into three distinct zones. The first zone is the clinic zone.  It contains the exam rooms, ultrasound rooms, and a staff work area.  The second zone was the procedure suite.  One Procedure room, four pre/post op bays, a central nurse station, and support spaces are located here.  The Procedure Room contains a mobile C-Arm. This area also has a staff connection to the neighboring ambulatory surgical center. The final zone is the staff zone.  This is where the Conference Room, Physician Offices, Breakroom, and staff lockers are located. There is a staff connection to the neighboring ambulatory surgical center.

Andrews Architects was able to take advantage of the floor to ceiling large windows.  Not typically done in OBLs, there are large windows in the pre/post op bays and the Procedure Room. The nurse station is located across from these windows.  This allows plenty of natural light for the patients and staff.
