Andrews Architects partnered with Equity Construction Solutions on the design of a new 22,000 square foot medical office building in Columbus for Ohio ENT Allergy & Physicians. Throughout the design process, Andrews worked directly with the client to develop a plan that maximizes efficiency for the user group and provides flexibility for future growth. A series of pods each containing two exam rooms, a treatment room, dictation area, nurse work station, and supporting facilities are located off a central corridor that provides access to dedicated audio and allergy suites. Because acoustical privacy was a major concern for the client, Andrews used its specialized expertise to provide design solutions to address this issue without compromising key programmatic adjacencies.
