Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center plans to lease a five-story $20 million health center to be built at Kingsdale Shopping Center in Upper Arlington.

The 100,000-square-foot facility would be built along Zollinger Road west of a water tower at the shopping center and south of the Arlington Urgent Care, according to a city spokeswoman.

Services would include primary care; women’s health; heart and vascular care; dermatology; allergy; and imaging and lab services, according to a news release. The facility also would have conference space available for city, school and community use.

It plans to use about 80 percent of the building initially and expand into the remaining space later. It will employ 155 people initially, generating about $320,000 annually in municipal income taxes.

Final terms of the agreement have yet to be finalized between the city, the medical center and the Kingsdale developer, Continental Real Estate Companies.
